Job Description

CANNABIS XPRESS is a small business in Scarborough, ON. We are fun and bold.Our work environment includes:

Product Expert (Budtender) - Job DescriptionHours: Part-Time (15 - 35 hrs/week)Reports to: Store LeadResponsibilities:
  • Greeting customers and providing fast and efficient service to create the CANNABIS XPRESS experience
  • Represent the legal cannabis industry in a positive manner; Be an engaged member of the local cannabis community
  • Provide all cannabis customers with the proper advice so as to ensure long-lasting and meaningful trust and rapport between our customers and our brand
  • Educate and advise cannabis customers on all varieties of cannabis products and accessories
  • Promote quick and efficient access to cannabis products to represent our brand identity
  • Accountable to all standard operating policies and procedures
  • Contribute to a clean and accessible store image by assisting with daily cleaning, merchandising, and sanitary practices
  • Abide by all applicable legal regulations and act as a socially responsible cannabis vendor
  • Maintain all required certifications to work at a cannabis retail location
  • Ensure all proprietary information is kept confidential at all times
  • Ancillary tasks may be assigned from time-to-time as required
Requirements:
  • Possesses or is qualified to receive CanSell certification
  • Must be legal age to work at a cannabis retailer
  • Previous experience with cannabis products is preferred
  • Customer service / retail experience in a fast paced environment is preferred
  • Possesses excellent communication skills and level of energy. The ideal candidate should be ready to get our customers excited about their visit and create the CANNABIS XPRESS experience
  • Genuine passion for the cannabis industry or cannabis culture
  • All education backgrounds will be considered
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentSalary: $16.00-$17.00 per hourJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 15-30 per weekSalary: $15.50-$17.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Scarborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
  • Cannabis Sales Associates: 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 4 years (required)
