Job Description

Data Processing ManagerTenure: Full-TimeLocation: 2206 Eglinton Ave East, Suite 190. Scarborough, ON M1L 4S8 + Hybrid (Work From Home)Hours: Monday – Friday (10:00AM – 6:30PM)

Salary: $60,000/year + bonuses per yearStart Date: ImmediatelySummary: The Data Processing Manager is responsible for applying data tools to collect, cleanse,present structured and unstructured data for analysis and reporting. The person will assist indata project management with various levels of the organization.Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Responsible for resolving client questions and internal data, fielding, and programming issues when needed
  • Manage studies including sample selection, fieldwork monitoring, quota monitoring, and data delivery
  • Work with clients to analyze data and troubleshoot data issues, build strong and positive
relationships with clients
  • Cooperate with the programming and fielding team, advise on back end set up for programming and fielding targets
  • Assign workflow for data processing members to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
  • Develop templates and methodologies to ensure data requirements are accurately and completely
captured and can be effectively communicated to data members
  • Communicate with teams and departments to understand the requirements of data SOPs
  • Create training documentation and business process procedures
  • Evaluate performance of team members for productivity and capability
  • Provide ongoing support and leadership
  • Propose solutions and set up to-be business processes based on company’s strategic and business requirements.
  • Ensure the proposed technical solutions effectively meet the business need
  • Participate in ad-hoc requests as required
Required Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, SPSS, and SAS
  • SQL, Tableau/Power BI, and WinCross experience is considered an asset
Preferred Qualifications:
  • University degree in econometrics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
  • Preferred of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in research industry
