Job Description

Position: Inventory Control ManagerLocation: Toronto, OntarioDuration: Permanent Our client is looking to hire an Inventory Control Manager that will oversee all company ingredient, packaging, and finished goods inventory in both the Manufacturing and Warehouse facilities, as well as a 3PL offsite warehousing facility. You will conduct training of Warehouse associates (drivers, Inventory clerks, and/or specialists), ensure balanced inventory records and associated inventory counts, conduct inventory analysis, and implement industry best practices to reduce material waste due to damage, and minimize inaccurate inventory reporting activity and eliminate shrinkage/theft.Responsibilities include:

  • Support inventory control and supply chain function for the Company.
  • Work with Operations, Supply Chain, and Warehousing, analyze current procedures and optimize for efficiency, cost reduction and greater customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate cycle and year-end inventory counts at multiple warehouses and reconcile in transit inventory.
  • Develop action plans to effectively manage inventory levels and to optimize inventory stock requirements.
  • Ensure accurate Min/Max levels and costing are accurate for all inventoried items.
  • Address inventory issues as they arise; identify root causes to fix
  • Enforce inventory management policies and procedures compliance within the organization
  • Run and reconcile inventory valuation reports from all warehouses.
  • Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages, system, and physical count.
  • Investigate inventory variances, determining root cause and action process improvements
  • Coordinate Inbound and Outbound loads from the 3PL warehouse to the main warehouse and vice versa.
  • Coordinate inventory adjustments and posting in the SAP system.
  • Assist in system implementations and integration in the system.
  • Analysis of current inventory levels for demand forecasting purposes.
Job Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience with SAP highly preferred
  • Experience with Batch-Master system an asset
  • Process improvement skills
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From $85,000.00 per yearSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
