Job Description

InVision is a Professional Recruitment Firm involved in Engineering, Industrial/Skilled Trades, Information Technology and Professional Services within Canada and the U.S. We have a successful track record working on both small and large recruitment projects, across North America.Our client, a leading electronic manufacturing firm, is currently looking for a Quality Inspector to join their growing team.Responsibilities:

  • Perform all visual and final inspection steps per work instructions
  • Responsible for “first off inspection” of boards going through wave solder machine
  • Ensure the parts are installed on the board as per BOM
  • Ensure workmanship conforms to IPC 610 Standards.
  • Verify all processes are performed to the documentation.
  • Report all issues to QC Supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years working in an electronic manufacturing environment
  • Good knowledge of electronic assemblies including through-hole and SMT components, drawings and BOMs.
  • Familiar with IPC standards with respect to PCB repair.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and ESD control.
