Our customers love both our selection and working with our team.The Junior PVF Quotations Specialist works as a member of a team dedicated to profitably growing PVF project business at Independent Mechanical Supply.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAccurately identify and interpret the PVF products on a job specification, scope of work, or RFQ documentsAssemble approval drawing and maintenance manual packages for outside sales representatives and customersAccurately enter quotes into Independent’s ERP systemBuild and maintain strong relationships with customersCoordinate customer returnsMaintain system pricingNegotiate project pricingAssist customers in sourcing products and solutions to their technical problemsRequest vendor pricing from multiple vendorsFollow up with customers on quoted projectsOther duties as assigned.Minimum RequirementsExperience with and/or knowledge of PVF products sold by wholesale plumbing distributorsDemonstrated business acumen and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven fast paced environmentAbility to identify and suggest ways to maximize profit for the Company and provide value to the customerPresentation skillsDesire to continually be educated in the requirements of the positionProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Adobe Acrobat, Order Entry Software and Internet Information Gathering/ResearchExcellent Written and oral communication skillsEstablished history of demonstrating the ability to pay attention to detailIMS is a mid-sized company with a small-company feel.
