This position is IN PERSON instructor position.The primary responsibility of this position is to provide quality delivery of assigned courses withing the personal support program. The instructor will guide, support & coach students to be successful in this health care course. The PSW instructor will be responsible to create a conducive & effective learning environment & teaching the curriculum as outlined by the college adhering to the NACC competencies.Instructor must have full knowledge & expertise in the following areas & be able to teach:PSW foundationssafety & mobilityBody systemspersonal hygieneAbuse & neglectcare planningfamily growth & developmentAssisting the dying personAssisting with medicationCognitive & mental health issues; brain injuriesHousehold managementCPR & First aid courses.Qualifications & Experience:RPN or RN of minimum 2 years+ experienceRegistered with CNO-in good standing.Previous teaching experience is an assetJob Type: Fixed term contractSalary: $23.00-$25.00 per hourSchedule:
