Job Description

We are arguably the largest security company in Canada.Job Profile:The commissionaire will report to and work with the Site Supervisor and Area Manager. He/she will utilize the post orders to provide superior customer service, security and protection to their client and the client’s property/assets.Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manning reception
  • Access control
  • Response to alarms
  • Assist in the maintenance of good order in the public areas
  • Conduct patrols of the area of responsibility
  • Checking the paper roll in the Q-Matic ticket dispenser and replace roll if required
  • Radio communication
  • Dealing with regular walk-in customers
  • Prolong standing may be required
  • Locking and unlocking of doors
  • Escorting Shred-It personnel
  • Performing additional duties or tasks requested by client or site lead
Required Education, Qualifications and Experience:
  • Must have Ontario Secondary School Diploma
  • Minimum 3 years of Security Guard experience
  • "G" Driving license with clean record
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time and complete frequent patrols
  • Strong understanding of computers
  • Customer service/reception/administrative skills
  • The ability to work alone while maintaining a high level of service to the client is essential
  • Must be fully vaccinated
