Job Description

We are looking for a reliable Server to perform tasks that ensure excellent working conditions in our pizzeria. As a Server, you will be responsible for preparing tables, taking and serving orders, handling food and drinks from kitchen and bar stations and accepting payment at the end of the service. As a team player, you should expect to be working with a busy schedule, as the job may be part-time or full-time and may include weekends or holidays. You need to be familiar with food preparation in a pizzeria setting and have excellent communication skills to provide accurate information to customers. Ideally, you will be a quick learner with prior experience in serving customers in pizzeria or restaurant.Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers politely as they enter the restaurant/bar.
  • Determine the customers seating.
  • Offer available options to customers (menus, beverages etc.).
  • Deliver food and beverage orders to the customers tables.
  • Ensure their orders are served correctly (e.g. with the proper utensils, temperature and ingredients).
  • Checks that customers are enjoying their meals and if not, determine why and follow-up with the kitchen.
  • Suggest additional beverage and food options to customers. (e.g. dessert, drinks etc.)
  • The quality of service is high so the pizzeria is always busy.
  • Patrons love the pizzeria because of how well you treat them and how great the food is.
