Dayton Parts is seeking Warehouse Associates to join our growing team in Saint-Leonard, QC! In this position you will be ensuring the receipt and coordination of goods coming in and out of the warehouse through receiving inventory, ensuring orders arrive and are dispatched on time. Apply today to join our team!Shift: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm (1 hour lunch).Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by organizing, cleaning and implementing new design layouts when required
  • Daily inspections of the warehouse equipment
  • Follows and maintains transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency.
Skills Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees, carriers, vendors and management
  • Strong team and independent work skills.
  • Physically fit and able to occasionally lift weights of up to 100lbs
  • Experience with forklifts and stock pickers preferred
  • Experience in warehousing and traffic preferred
  • Heavy duty truck industry experience preferred
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Required High School Diploma or GED.
