Our management team has over 35 years of experience in the automotive parts industry. Headquartered in Ottawa, we are looking to hire a customer service/warehouse associate.Role: Customer Service /Warehouse AssociateCustomer Service/warehouse Associate Role Description: Our company requires a professional, positive person to fill the role of Customer Service /Warehouse associate on our team. You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as processing and invoicing customer orders, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock and other.Customer Service/ Warehouse Associate Position Overview: · Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions, suggesting information about other products and services.· Input sales orders, invoices, and shipping information.· Arrange freight shipments.· Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customers complaint – determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting corrections or adjustments; following up to ensure resolution.· Welcome and receive inventory from delivery trucks· Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools· Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise· Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times· Tag and label merchandise· Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards· Prepare all orders for shipment· Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items· Enter data in inventory and logistics software programsRequired Experience and Skills: · High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.· Experience in Microsoft base programsBasic Requirements: · Initiative and Quick Learner· Organized multitasker· Good social and communication skills· Problem Solving skills· Required language: English fluently· Worked in Automotive industry is an asset

  • Forklift Operation Certification will be considered an advantage
  • Previous working experience as a Warehouse Worker is an advantage.
  • Physical stamina and manual dexterity
Education: High school diplomaCompensation: TBD based on qualifications and experienceJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $15.50-$20.54 per hourSchedule:
