Job Description

Level 2 Dental AssistantJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Full-time registered Level 2 Dental Assistant to hire for our progressive and state-of-the-art practice. The successful applicant must be self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented. It is important that this person possesses a positive attitude with a professional commitment to a team-oriented environment as we offer a positive, passionate, driven, and dedicated team. Our office is fully IPAC and Covid-19 compliant to ensure the safety of patients and all staff members. All RCDSO guidelines are being followed.Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed a Level 2 Dental Assistant Certificate.
  • New Grads welcome, willing to train.
  • HARP certification.
  • Current CPR and First Aid training.
  • Knowledge of all IPAC and Covid 19 protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to work during scheduled hours, and work well in a fast paced environment
  • Must be ok with one Saturday per month and one evening till 7 pm.
  • Proficiency in sterilization duties, impression taking, ordering materials, and managing the sterilization bay.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
  • Experience with Dentrix and Dexis considered an asset.
Job Type: Permanent Full Time
  • 30 – 35 hours.
  • Wage based on experience.
