Job Description

Position: Shop Help – Schomberg, ON (Afternoon shift)Location: 5730 Second Line (New Tecumseth) Schomberg, Ontario L0G 1T0Reporting to: Service ManagerJob Status: Full-timeShift: 5 days per week Monday to Thursday between 2pm-12:30am (Afternoon shift)At TIP Canada we recognize that it is our people who make the difference and are the key to our growth and ongoing success. As a Shop Help you will be responsible for the assistance with general shop duties, including receiving parts and cleaning shop.YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Help unloading of parts and stock
  • Help in shop as directed
  • Clean shop as directed
  • Assist in yard with movement of equipment as required
  • Helping shop staff with other duties as required
YOU NEED TO HAVE:
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Be able to work outside and in a variety of weather conditions
  • Solid organizational capabilities and ability to complete multiple tasks
  • Work effectively in, and contribute to, a team environment
  • Valid forklift license and a driver’s license.

  • warehouse and shop helping: 3 years (required)
  • parts unloading, equipment moving: 1 year (required)
  • shop cleaning: 1 year (required)
Shift availability:
  • Night Shift (preferred)
