Job Description

WANTED: Trucking Coordinator/Field SupervisorTORQ TRUCKING (2015) Ltd. o/a Goulet Trucking is seeking 1 highly motivated and experienced Trucking Coordinator/Field Supervisor to join their team!The TORQ Team o/a Goulet Trucking, is considered the best in the business with quality of work that is second to none. Our team is 100% local – we live and work in the community. We are a team, a work family.Our workload requires that we add 1 new Trucking Coordinator/Field Supervisor to our team. You will be supported by our group of long-term employees who are not only experienced, they are considered the gold standard.The position reports directly to the General Manager and is part of a team that provides services for various clients.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, maintain, and dispatch loads to drivers
  • Review, validation, and approval of all local truck tickets
  • Create and send reports as required
  • Incident response and reporting
  • Complete field audits on equipment and work sites throughout all areas
  • Review and update schedules as required
  • Communicate clearly and maintain a good working relationship with drivers, other dispatchers, and customer representatives
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures and by always acting in a safe manner
  • Attending safety meetings and ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performing general labor duties as assigned, including the use of hand tools and operation of power equipment
  • On Call 24 hours during your shift
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prior tank truck driving or off-road driving experience is an asset but not required
  • Oilfield Tickets (Required): H2S Alive, TDG, WHMIS, First Aid, PST/ CSTS
  • The candidate must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Strong background in Microsoft word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, ZOOM and other related computer programs
  • Must be fluent in reading and writing English
  • Strong understanding of hours of service
  • Strong decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
