Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, service-oriented Front Desk agent to join our teamThe Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities.The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Personable, polite and friendly.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Able to problem-solve, make decisions and take initiative as required.
  • Genuine pleasure in providing service to others.
  • Ability to multi task and work effectively under pressure.
  • Fluent in English
  • Second Language an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Available to work morning, afternoon and night shifts.
  • Schedule flexibility - weekend work required.
If you have a knack for customer service and have work experience in the hotel industry, wed like to meet you.Responsibilities:
  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
  • Manage online and phone reservations
  • Register guests collecting necessary information
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
  • Respond to clients complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with other departments to accommodate guests needs.
Requirements:
  • Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
  • Experience with hotel PMS Opera an asset
  • Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor
  • Customer service attitude
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Degree in hotel management is a plus
Candidate will get onsite Accommodation if they want to stay onsite.Job Type: PermanentSalary: From $15.20 per hourExperience:
  • customer service: 1 year (preferred)
