Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethicInteract professionally with Guests and Co-WorkersPerform cleaning and laundry duties dailyResponsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire HotelAssign workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standardsInvestigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipmentConduct orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment.Report all maintenance issues to managementAssist with inventories for linen, uniform and fixed assetsParticipate in departmental and organizational meetingsFollow proper privacy and security proceduresProvide support to the Head Housekeeper with any additional dutiesJob Requirements/Qualifications:A minimum of 2 years experience as a room or laundry attendantMust be available on weekends and holidaysSuperior interpersonal skills and the understanding of when tact and discretion are necessary to handle both team member and guest issuesA friendly and enthusiastic individual with excellent grooming and a professional imageAbility to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a multifunctional work environmentAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and coworkersAbility to lead by example and motivate team members to ensure a well-balanced work environment.Salary/Wage: $19.00 per hourJob Application Process:We offer a competitive wage, hotel discounted rates and complimentary access to on-site fitness center.
