Acre Wood Daycare & Early Learning is an infant / toddler childcare centre that will be opening November 1, 2022. Located at 9842 Resthaven Dr in Sidney, BC!We are looking for ECE IT’s, ECE’s, and EA’s to work in our classrooms! We offer two infant / toddler programs with 12 children in each program, we have an on-site chef that makes fresh homemade food for the children everyday.Shifts are 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with paid vacation, paid sick days, and a benefits package.Shifts range from 8am - 4pm, 8:15am - 4:15pm, and 8:30am - 4:30pm. Salaries range from $19.50/hour to $25/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.Some Duties & Responsibilities:-Plan, carry out, and assess age appropriate activities and experiences in line with the Acre Woods goals and guidelines-Maintain a safe and healthy environment-Ensure there is constant two-way, open communication with parents-Contribute to ongoing operations at the centre; attending staff meetings, carrying out assigned duties, and maintaining regular attendance and punctualityQualifications and Requirements:Certification in Infant & Toddler Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Education, or Early Childhood Education AssistantFirst AidCriminal Record Check2 letters & contact information from character referencesWe are so excited to hear from all candidates that apply & look forward to adding members to our Acre Wood team!Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $19.50-$25.00 per hourFlexible Language Requirement:
