Job Description

From our beginning in a small, crowded office, to today, with facilities across North America and agents across the globe, the quality of service we provide has always come first.Aerostream is looking for a committed, hardworking, and responsible individual to join our team as an Office Administrator on a full-time basis.The Office Administrator will assume various operating and administrative duties related to logistic coordination, project administration, billing practices and procedures throughout the organization. You will be in constant communication and working with multiple members of the operations team in all 3 of the companies’ locations (Sidney, Richmond, and Seattle).Job Summary: · Entering notification of goods that have arrived in the warehouse into an RNS System· Send out arrival notices to brokers· Organize E-Manifest filing pertaining to international truck operations· Help run Custom Bonds and Remanifests· Submit clearance for customs and inbound cruise freight· Prepare or assist with inbound and outbound air cargo or courier shipments· Prepare bills of lading and coordinate booking for pick ups· Assist with duties related to transborder operations· Enter data into multiple software systems quickly and accurately· Liaising frequently with customer, third party providers and internal operations groups· Reply to internal and external emails/phone calls in a timely matter· Check for customs release pertaining to shipments in the warehouse· Report any data discrepancies· Follow quality service standards and comply with company procedures, rules and regulations· Keep a clean and safe working environment· Other ad hoc duties as assignedShift Times: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, based at the Victoria International Airport.Possibility for overtime hours and pay as required.Required Qualifications: · No experience in the logistics industry necessary, but 1 year preferred· Strong verbal and written communication skills· Punctual and flexible with work hours based on volume of work during busy seasons· Proven ability to multi-task, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure to meet competing objectives· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel, with excellent keyboarding skills· High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy· Exceptional customer service attitude and approach· Good organizational, multitasking and time management skills· Is a quick learner and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment· Able to assess stressful situations in a calm manner and make decisions based on changing information· Fun, positive and professional attitude.· Must be comfortable working with cats/dogs/kittens/puppies.Compensation: Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.Health and Dental Benefits eligible upon passing 3-month probation period.Location: Sidney, BCJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:
