Job Description

Administrative AssistantSilvicon Services Inc. is a well-established, progressive, forest management consulting firm. Based out of beautiful Smithers, B.C., Silvicon has provided full-phase forest management and environmental services to forest companies and government agencies throughout British Columbia and Alberta for over 30 years.This position is an opportunity to perform a variety of administrative tasks assisting the Business Manager for Silvicon Services and for assisting our various clients within Northern British Columbia.Specific Duties Include:

  • General reception
  • Contract writing
  • Minute taking
  • Assisting with business financials
  • Data entry and management
  • Timekeeping
  • Vehicle and equipment tracking support
  • Safety Management System support
Qualifications Required:
  • Professional friendly manner
  • Ability to work in a team & independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft “Word”, “Excel” and other computer applications
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Class 5 driver’s license
  • Close attention to detail
This position is open to potentially be part time or full-time based on an agreement between the prospective candidate and Silvicon with flexible hours. We offer a competitive compensation package which includes a benefits package after 4-months, RRSP contributions for longer term employees, and a fun fast paced environment!Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentSalary: $22.00-$25.00 per hourBenefits:
