More information can be found here.A great opportunity to advance your administrative careerThe Community Corrections Division of the Corrections Branch is responsible for the delivery of programs and services to adult clients or alleged clients awaiting trial or sentencing, who are serving community based sentences of the court. The intent of these programs and services is to enhance public safety by assessing and managing the risk of the clients and providing intervention to change behaviour. The Community Corrections Division works closely with the court system and the Adult Custody Division of the Corrections Branch, and responds to court and custody requests for pre-sentence and other reports. Community Corrections Offices are the primary location for client supervision and liaison with community and justice partners as well as the general public.The Office Manager supervises administrative staff and provides financial, human resource and front line support services.   • Secondary school graduation (or equivalent); and
  • Minimum two years experience working with the public.
  • Ability to keyboard accurately 30 wpm.
  • Valid Class 5 B.C. driver’s license. A valid Class 7 may be considered
Preference may be given to applicants with:
  • A combination of 2 years of related experience, education and/or training (e.g., Business college certificate, secretarial or administrative support).
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Some accounting/financial experience.
  • Experience working in the Justice System.
