Our drivers are an essential part of LB Paving & Canyon Contracting operation.Main Responsibilities

• Must be able to operate a Truck.
• Operate equipment on public roadways, maintaining proper awareness of your surroundings.
• The applicant must be able to lift and move product sometimes involving strenuous labour.
• Will be required to maintain necessary logs, driving records and DOT certifications.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate, and refill the equipment as necessary.
• Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficiently according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
• Must be able to work well independently, self-motivated and driven.
• Able to take and follow instruction from supervisor, adjust to changing conditions and communicate any and all

needs to supervisor as well as working as part of a team.

• Capable of loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work extended hours & irregular days with irregular breaks

Requirements

• Have a Class 3 Driver License.
• Pass a Drug & Alcohol test.
• 2-3 years’ experience operating a diverse range of construction equipment is required.
• 3-5 years in the construction industry preferred.
• Ability to perform manual labor.
• Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.
• Work overtime as required.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
