We value fostering and sustaining an environment of diversity and inclusion where everyone can reach their full potential.WHAT YOU WILL DOUnder the direction of the Assistant Manager, the Forest Technician is responsible for forest development activities including reconnaissance road/cutblock engineering, ecological and riparian assessments, and completing the associated plans, deliverables, and appraisal packages in a safe, timely, cost effective and professional manner.WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • A safety conscious attitude;
  • Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree in forestry;
  • General understanding and experience with forestry practices in British Columbia;
  • Registered or eligible to be registered with the Association of British Columbia Forest Professionals; and
  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Able to work both independently under limited direct supervision as well as in a dynamic team environment;
