With a population of 5,400, it is a service hub for a surrounding region comprising of a population of approximately 15,000.Residents enjoy four seasons of recreational activities; in addition to a ski hill within a half an hour of town, the region offers word-class fishing, backcountry and cross-country skiing, hunting, golfing and alpine trails for hiking and horseback riding coupled with a lively music scene, Art Gallery, Museum, theatrical performances, and an energetic sporting community.GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the Legislative Clerk provides administrative support to Senior Staff, Council and Committees. The ability to work evenings to accommodate Council and Committee meetings is required.
