Job DescriptionCompany DescriptionCanadian Helicopters is a diversified company offering helicopter charter, maintenance support and flight training services. Canadian Helicopters has operated rotary wing since 1947 and is Canada’s largest helicopter operator with 25 locations across the country and a fleet of nearly 100 single and multi-engine aircraft.Job DescriptionReporting to the Chief Engineer, this position requires individuals who are organized and self- starter. Duties include those of performing aircraft maintenance, organizing and housekeeping of the hangar facility. The position does involve shift work including days, evenings and weekends.as well as an on-call rotation.Canadian Helicopters is currently seeking Rotary Wing Aircraft Maintainers (AME’s and Apprentices) for fixed base work in Southport Manitoba.Potential to migrate to the FAcT contract;Potential to work on brand new, state of the art, Airbus H135 aircraft in the future;Qualifications

  • Hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 rated AME license;
  • Hold or have previously held ACA on the Bell 206, or;
  • Hold or have previously held Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) on the Bell 412;
  • Hold or have previously held Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) on the Bell 212 (an asset).
  • Preference given to those with twin engine IFR experience;
  • Be customer focused and a team player;
  • Have good communication skills and a positive attitude;
  • Be able to obtain access to controlled goods approval.
