Job Description

At Kal Tire, we are excited to welcome a skilled and accredited Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician to our team at our NEW LOCATION on Windermere Blvd. In this role, you #39;ll take pride in performing repairs on a diverse range of vehicles in a customer-focused environment. We value diversity and inclusivity, and we encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.As a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician, you will bring your expertise from your completed 4 years of schooling and are fully licensed to execute inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, and general maintenance on automobiles. Your work will contribute to the safety and satisfaction of our valued customers.Job Responsibilities:

  • Skillfully perform repairs on a variety of vehicles within a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize your diagnostic skills to identify issues and execute adjustments for automotive services.
  • Provide essential general maintenance tasks, including tire rotations and brake inspections.
  • Engage in open communication with customers, explaining repair options and recommending services with a customer-focused approach.
  • Uphold our commitment to safety and environmental responsibility, contributing to a secure and sustainable workplace.
Job Requirements:
  • Licensed Red Seal Automotive Service Technician.
  • Proficiency in inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, service, and repair on a diverse range of vehicles.
  • Capability to thrive in a physical environment that involves continuous lifting and movement throughout the day.
  • Exemplary attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with safety-focused work environments and a strong commitment to maintaining safety standards.
  • Hold a valid driver #39;s license.
  • Ability to collaborate with the Sales team to identify potential mechanical opportunities.
