Procurement SupervisorSubsidiary: Colas Canada Inc.Job Position:Position: Procurement SupervisorJob Location: St. Albert, ABDepartment: FinanceReports to: Corporate ControllerKey Responsibilities:- Demonstrate commitment to company policies, procedures, guidelines and initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, Ethics, Goal Zero, and Core Values of Safety, Growth, Integrity, Quality and Collaboration- Consolidate vendor database- Establishing proper vendor credit limits- Standardizing vendor terms- Liaise and align with Colas Canada Inc. Procurement team- Assist and coordinate with Division Procurement teams to aide in process improvement and standardization.- Creation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures or email communications on current processes or process changes, when applicable- Review of procurement processes to ensure compliance and satisfaction of audit requirements- Assures proper authorization is obtained for requested purchases per Company policy- Review of expense object accounts for proper definition to aid in consistency of costing- Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with internal and external stakeholders- Review open receipts not yet vouchered when greater than 1 year in aging- Review of all vendor set up requests and current vendor data to ensure consistency of terms, data, etc.- Implementation of new procurement related initiatives- Invoice verification on new supply set ups (verify rates and any misc. charges)- Frequent collaboration and contact with Colas Western Canada Accounts Payable team to rectify account issues / discrepancies- Other duties as requiredQualifications:- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure- Clear and effective communication skills- Expertise in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel- Ability to work will in a fast paced, collaborative and team-based environment- Adaptability to a changing work environmentExperience/Education:- Bachelor #39;s Degree in Supply Chain Management- Other Procurement related Bachelor #39;s Degree- 2-3 years #39; experience in Procurement related field.- Previous experience with JDE would be an asset.ABOUT COLASColas is a Canadian leader in transportation infrastructure - materials, construction, and maintenance.
