BC Certified TeacherWe are looking for a full or part time teacher to start immediately. We are hiring BC Certified Teachers for our multi-aged, nature-based K-5 school. Teachers will participate in curriculum development, weekly meetings, student assessments, and social-emotional development plans, and are responsible for the daily implementation of BC Curriculum through child centered, inquiry-based learning. We have the unique learning environment where we spend a large portion of our day learning in, with and from nature in an outdoor setting which is then supported and supplemented by learning in our indoor space at our Nature School.Who Are WeSaplings is a brand new nature-based school located in North Vancouver on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations (Lower Mainland).
