As the Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible to prepare accurate Inventory reports regarding transactions related to Inventory and Excise Stamps. This role will provide support to the Inventory Analyst in daily activities regarding Inventory Control and lead internal projects as requested and provide necessary documentation support. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, energetic and able to work as part of a team and at a fast pace.This position is based out of Stayner, ON.What you’ll be doing:Prepare Inventory reporting to government authorities (CRA, Health Canada) and internal departments (Tax, Finance, Controlling, Supply Chain) as per company timelines and requirements.Maintain proper tracking of shipped inventory and returns (Customer, Vendor/Supplier) and QA Holds & Quarantines.Perform Inventory reconciliation for Cultivation and Packaging records.Ensure accuracy of all inventory across all platforms (e.g. Ample, PSI, Excel).Ensures the inventory counts are completed accurately for audits and periodic cycle counts as require.Complete various types of transactions within the ERP system.Support the Inventory Analyst activities to Manage, resolve and prevent negative inventory on a daily basis.Create proper documentation [SOP, WI, user’s manuals] to support implementation of new process or projects.Training staff in Inventory Control procedures as required.Oversee stock keeping unit (SKU) descriptions, location, and labels in product.Perform other duties and special projects as required.Your Environment: (for production specific roles only)Office work requires working with a computer at a desk, sitting for long periods of time.Required to work overtime as needed.Production environment can be warm and humid, similar to a greenhouse environment.Inventory counting requires walking inside warehouse locations.You’ll need to have:A minimum of High School, College preferred.1-3 years of experience in an inventory role or similar position.Strong Excel, Word, and Power Point as well as ERP experience.Strong teamwork and organizational skills.Strong reporting skills.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment, and we welcome and encourage applications from people with disabilities and people with diverse backgrounds, identities, and cultures.
