Job Description

Clearview Consumers Co-op Ltd. is hiring an Agro Yard Operations & Sales position to serve our Agro Centre in Steinbach, Manitoba.Who we are:Co-op does business differently. Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together.To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our brand to life, visit us at www.clearviewco-op.crsWhat you’ll do:You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the fertilizer blending facility, and overall operations and upkeep of the yard and warehouse. As part of the customer service requirements, some off-site deliveries and on-site loading/unloading is required, as well as some sales and promotions of equipment, hardware, crop inputs and commercial bagged fertilizer.Some main duties of the job include:

  • Live our brand, “You’re at Home Here” by presenting a positive, collaborative, and professional image of the organization to all customers, visitors, suppliers, and team members.
  • Exemplify our company values: People, Integrity, Excellence, and Responsibility.
  • Be responsible for the overall Agro Centre operations. This includes exceptional customer service, documentation related to applicable record keeping and checklists. Indoor and outdoor work is required year-round.
  • Maintaining the building and yard appearance.
  • Maintain safety requirements of the equipment, buildings, and environment.
  • Assist with documenting accurate inventory.
  • Lead and maintain the rental of Ag equipment.
  • Build and cultivate productive relationships with clients, prospects, and key stakeholders to increase sales.

  • You have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • You have a passion for great customer service.
  • You are an exceptional team player and can build great working relationships with a variety of teams and customers.
  • You have great organization and time management skills.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You exhibit good safety awareness and judgment.
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
  • Class 3 or Class 1 Driver’s License is an asset.
  • Previous farm implements industry related experience is an asset.
