Job Description

We are looking to fill a Paint Line Operator position on the evening shift. This is a full time Band 3 position.Duties:

  • Ensure adequate volume of paint is prepared
  • Ensure paint guns are accurately set to ensure proper paint placement
  • Ensure painted components meet quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Complete routine maintenance on equipment – assisting maintenance when required
  • Communicate safety hazards and concern immediately
  • Flex throughout the plant where required by leadership
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written (in English)
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Physically able to lift 25-50 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to reach at and below shoulder height
  • Training for this position may require split shift availability
  • Chop, miter, and radial arm saw training
  • Knowledge of Loewen quality standards
  • Able to prioritize work
  • Time management skills
  • Able to direct and train others
  • Able to find required data
  • Willing to flex hours as needed
