Job Description

We are looking for a CNC Operator to join the Patio team on the day shift. This is a full time Band 3 position.Video - Learn More About Loewen Monday to Thursday between the hours of 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Why choose a career in manufacturing Click here: Video - General Assembly OpportunityDuties:

  • Efficient operation of CNC machine
  • Ensure parts meet specifications
  • Monitor operation of the CNC to ensure it is functioning problem free
  • Assist in solving problems that are occurring on the machine
  • Ensure parts are run on time and quality issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Provide Group Leader with accurate, timely information regarding CNC production, quality and maintenance
  • Flex where required around the plant as directed by leadership
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independent of direct supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Demonstrated focus on quality
  • Basic computer & programming skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both writtenand verbal
  • Ability to frequently lift 50+ pounds repetatively
  • Willing to work flexible hours when needed
Assets:
  • Sound mechanical understanding of motors and machinery
  • Previous experience operating a CNC machine or similarequipment
