Job Description

DNA ALIGNMENTATC is a Christ-centered, non-profit ministry focused on substance abuse treatment and recovery. The ability to be socially and relationally smart in interacting and engaging others on behalf of the ministry, understanding every team member represents ATC.PRIMARY PURPOSE: To serve the Ministry in reaching all goals set forth for the community. This includes planning, coordinating and administering at all levels for the programs and fundraising efforts.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Note: This is not a complete list of this position’s duties and responsibilities. The items below are examples of the types of activities performed. Other duties may be assigned. Travel to Winnipeg and other locations for support may be requested.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assist with the develop local ministry growth, fundraising, administration, planning and communication2. Assist with providing support and training to staff & volunteers.3. Assist with ensuring a standard of excellence in maintaining facilities, vehicles and all other ATCCC properties.4. Assist with aftercare ministries by providing accountability, support and mentorship to ensure that the ATCCC DNA is realized and carried out.5. Assist with network building for referrals such as mental health, employment, shelters, detox bed, and youth services. Communicating “the whole package” effectively.6. Assist with connecting the community members as the first point of contact for admissions, assisting with applications and connecting with the families.7. Assist with building, developing and maintaining donor and business relationships8. Assist with coordinating & representing churches, schools, special events or other events.9. Assist with facilitating Ready Now Recovery Groups.10. Provide mentorship to local men and women struggling with life-controlling problems.11. Assist with planning and preparation of Freedom Church Services.12. Cover other staff vacation and sick leave, including those in other locations, if needed.SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Support the Winnipeg Ready Now Recovery programs, and Jail MinistryQualifications:1. Highly motivated self-starter2. Willingness to learn and be teachable3. Able to be an example to other staff in daily living4. Actively demonstrate and maintain excellent working relationships with all program staff and all other departments5. Strong organizational skills and highly effective communication skills.6. Strong understanding of the DNA of the Adult & Teen Challenge ministry.7. Understanding of human nature and the physical and spiritual battles that they8. Working knowledge and willingness to adapt to web-based programs and reporting.9. Ability to diffuse tense situations.10. Ability to mentor and lead others.11. Willingness to have a learning plan and be a lifelong learner.12.
