Job Description

This unique career opportunity offers you the chance to use your diverse window and door knowledge and hands-on experience, along with your demonstrated passion for ‘getting the job done’ in the Field Service and Installation areas of the business. The successful candidate will have proven ability to build effective relationships and have a passion for satisfying customers. This position will be based in Steinbach, Manitoba. Duties:

  • Visit job sites to review repairs and installations to ensure a high quality of work and that Loewen procedures have been followed
  • Provide installation and service expertise for builders, homeowners, and 3rd party providers
  • Monitor Service Technician and 3rd party provider workloads to ensure a timely completion of work
  • Perform small product repairs/adjustments when needed
  • Document and communicate suggested product improvements to the Field Service Leader
  • Lead, coach, mentor Service Technicians
  • Oversee safety training, documentation, and safety compliance for Service Technicians
  • Contribute to departmental continuous improvement initiatives on an ongoing basis
  • Participate in knowledge development opportunities on an ongoing basis
Requirements:
  • Window and door experience or previous experience in construction, building materials or similar field.
  • Passion for problem solving, with the goal of a completely satisfied customer
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive communication skills
  • Must be safety minded and detail oriented
  • Competent computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to occasionally lift 50+ lbs. and work at heights
