Job Description

We are looking for a Finisher to join our Custom Shop team on evening shift. The Custom Shop team works with customers to deliver custom and pre-finished window and door product to the luxury market not currently supported by the core manufacturing team at Loewen. We offer a unique and challenging work environment that encourages out-of-the-box thinking. As a finisher within the Custom Shop team, you would be responsible for:

  • Applying various paints, primers, and topcoats with pneumatic sprayers and brushes
  • Applying standard and custom stains, often with multiple complex layers
  • Prepping and cleaning window and door components for the finishing process
  • Wire-brushing and distressing product as required
  • Preparing custom finish samples for potential customers
  • Working as a member of the team to ensure product produced meets exceptional quality standards
  • Partnering with Leadership to ensure workload is prioritized and completed as promised to our customers
  • Maintaining organization throughout the finishing processes to maximize productivity
  • Ensuring our work environment is safe and clean according to 5S standards
  • Assisting other production areas of Custom Shop and other Core departments as required
