Job Description

We are currently accepting applications for the position of Hardware Manager-Merchandising at our Steinbach Branch.Hardware Manager-Merchandising – Steinbach BranchAs a valuable member of our team your duties will include:

  • Ensures store is neat and merchandise has appropriate signage including price
  • Ensures adequate amount of merchandise is ordered and merchandise is stocked upon arrival to the facility
  • Ensure end-caps and drive aisle merchandizing is seasonally balanced, updating as necessary to be proactive the season
  • Assists customers through their purchase process in a friendly and knowledgeable manner
  • Keeps team members up to date on company flyers and new product knowledge
The successful candidate will:
  • Show a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
  • Be physically able to repeatedly lift/carry over 50lbs
  • The ability to work in a team environment is essential
  • Previous merchandising experience is preferred and knowledge of building materials is an asset but not required
  • Must enjoy a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to supervise, provide direction and keep team members motivated
  • Display a desire to expand on their knowledge and skill set.
  • Be available for a rotating schedule that will include Monday – Friday shifts of either 8am to 5pm or 12pm to 8pm and some Saturday shifts of 8am to 4pm
