The position will ensure sustainable and timely realization of business requirements solutions that are in alignment with B+L IT strategy, architecture and roadmap. This position will also provide IT consulting to the business areas with a focus on creating business value while delivering transparency of demands and ensuring cross-functional consolidation and alignment.Key activities/Responsibilities:Understands business operational needs and strategic directionPartners with the business to determine and frame the requirements for each requestShapes thinking on how technology solutions that support the goals of the businessConsolidation of cross functional demand within the B+L Canada business areas to realize synergies.Support or lead the creation of a requirements specification and ensure alignment of the potential solutions with the IT strategy and IT roadmap.Serve as the single point of escalation and communication within market for IT service delivery to business areas and IT Centers of Excellence to ensure consistent service delivery and measurement based on SLAs.Global responsibilities while representing Canada business areas & surfacing demands in global initiatives.Collaborates with partners across IT to identify solutionsEnsures delivery meets original commitmentsPresents comprehensive updates to business leads, representing entire portfolioCommunicates and align to Corporate IT strategyBe the voice of business in IT organizationQualifications/Training:University degree in Computer Sciences or a related business field.Minimum of 10 years IT management experience in supporting commercial systemsAbility to liaise between various non-technical business units and ITPositive attitude and longing for results are essential qualitiesExcellent communicator with the ability to work at all levelsExcellent presentation skillsAnalytical and creative, able to offer new ideas and perspectives to the situationExcellent business process mapping and requirements analysisExperience working with or within healthcare or life sciences domain preferredExperience with SAP ERP S4 in the commercial area a plusProject Management experience within large/complex business driven projectsThe masculine is used in this publication without prejudice for the sake of conciseness.Bausch & Lomb is committed to equal employment opportunity and complies with equal employment opportunity laws in effect wherever it operates.We are an equal opportunity employer.
