Job Description

The evening shift Manufacturing Admin team is looking for an organized, motivated individual to fill the Material Handler position. This is a permanent position.Video - Learn More About Loewen4 Day Work Week - Monday to Thursday, between the hours of 4:30 PM to 3:00 AMVideo - Hear Annies StoryDuties:

  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of materials
  • Receive incoming materials
  • Maintain material database
  • Participate in team continuous improvement activities
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills (in English)
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work
  • Ability to train others on material replenishment principles
  • Physically able to lift 25-50 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to handle weighted down metal carts
  • Assist on the assembly line as required
Assets:
  • Powerjack and/or BT certificate. Chop Saw
  • Computer skills (MS Office, AS400)
