Job Description

We are looking for a Material Handler/Steward to join the Inventory team on the Evening shift.Duties:

  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of materials
  • Assist others in locating required components
  • Receive incoming materials
  • Maintain material database
  • Ensure materials are delivered to the appropriate location
  • Participate in team continuous improvement activities
Requirements:
  • Able to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills (in English)
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work
  • Ability to train others on material replenishment principles
  • Physically able to lift 25-50 pounds and repeatedly, reaching at, above and below shoulder height
  • Ability to handle weighted down material carts
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders throughout the day
Assets:
  • Power jack and/or BT certificate
  • Computer skills (MS Office, AS400)
  • Product/material knowledge
