DUTIES:
  • Work as a member of a team with department leadership to run an effective, efficient department
  • Navigate internal Ischedule systems to successfully release orders for daily packaging.
  • Organize and order necessary parts that are released for packaging.
  • Package and label all parts that are delivered from Production departments.
  • Store and organize sorting bins for all packaged parts on the dock.
  • Manage all courier trips and ensure accuracy in internal information systems (DSS02 / DSS01) which includes but isn’t limited to; releasing all stops on courier trips, picking all parts for the trip, applying extra packaging as needed for trips, scanning all parts and documenting important details and/or changes.
  • Navigating third party couriers, specifically UPS World Ship, to create and manage shipping orders (SO) which include weighing packages, creating and printing labels, applying labels with accuracy and preparing packages for pick-up/delivery.
  • Flex and cross train as required by leadership
  • Other duties as assigned
SKILLS WE LOOK FOR:
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills combined with a positive, customer oriented disposition.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and precision details.
  • Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs without assistance.
  • Organized, punctual, collaborative and displays team commitment.
Assets:
  • Experience with third party courier systems.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production or shipping/receiving considered.
  • Knowledge and experience in Lean manufacturing principles
