Job Description

If you have strong organizational and time management skills , and are able to lift 25-50 pounds frequently we invite you to apply for our Paint Line Assistant position on the Evening shift! Work hours are Monday to Thursday 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM. Join the Loewen team and develop your career in the manufacturing industry! Duties:

  • Prepare adequate volume of paint
  • Accurately set paint guns to ensure proper paint placement
  • Ensure painted components meet quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Complete routine maintenance on equipment
  • Communicate safety hazards and concern immediately
  • Cross train throughout the plant as required by leadership
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written (in English)
  • Work independently within a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Physically able to lift 25-50 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to reach at and below shoulder height
  • Able to prioritize work
  • Experience directing and training others
  • Knowledge of Loewen quality standards
  • Able to prioritize work
  • Strong time management skills
  • Training for this position may require split shift availability
