Job Description

Are you a high school student looking to dip your toes into the automotive world Are you a university student who needs to work a job that can fit around your classes Maybe you’re someone who needs a part-time job and you only have evening and weekend availability We’re looking to hire a self-motivated individual who would work primarily evening and weekend shifts as an Automotive Parts Advisor.To be successful as a Parts Advisor, you should have strong communication skills, be able to perform physically demanding tasks, and enjoy working with customers to find products that meet their needs.Applicants with previous automotive sales experience will be given preference. Previous experience will be considered for starting wage.Parts/Tire Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers by looking up parts needed for their vehicle repairs
  • Assist customers in purchasing tires that meet their vehicle specifications and driving needs
  • Answering phone calls and assisting customers with their part/tire needs
  • Tracking all incoming or outgoing parts and tires for the department
  • Locating available parts/tires when the store is out of stock
  • Handling payment collection and making sure all parts are billed properly
  • Assisting customers in finding and suggesting retail products that will meet their needs
  • Maintaining clean and stocked retail aisles
  • Packaging and shipping parts back to the warehouse from time to time and completing the appropriate record keeping
  • Refer to parts lookup system to identify exactly the right part for the make model and year of vehicles being serviced
Parts/Tire Advisor Skills and Qualification:
  • Previous experience in auto parts/tire sales is an asset
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical skills
  • Must be able to physically lift 50lbs or more
  • Attention to detail, prioritization skill and time management
  • Quick learner with a positive attitude
  • Maintain a strong relationship with Service Advisors
  • Possessing project management skill, analytical skill
  • Valid drivers license
  • Team-oriented flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Must have computer proficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service
Job Type: Part-timeSalary: $13.00-$18.00 per hourBenefits:
