Job Description

Clearview Consumers Co-op Ltd. is hiring a full-time Petroleum Truck Driver in Steinbach, Manitoba.Who we are: Co-op does business differently. To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our brand to life, visit us at www.clearviewco-op.crsWhat you’ll do: Reporting to the Petroleum Manager, the Petroleum Truck Driver will be responsible for the delivery of dangerous goods to customers including the securing, safe handling, loading, and unloading of goods.Some main duties of the job include:

  • Live our brand, “You’re at Home Here” by presenting a positive, collaborative, and professional image of the organization to all customers, visitors, suppliers, and team members.
  • Exemplify our company values: People, Integrity, Excellence, and Responsibility.
  • Maintain an effective and efficient service through communicating with customers, operations, and other Truck Drivers via phone, email, text, and online software.
  • Maintain all required documentation relating to inspection logs, delivery receipts, hours of work, etc.
  • Is knowledgeable of the policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety, TDG, WHMIS, National Safety Code, and safe work procedures.

  • You have a valid Class 1 License
  • You can provide an acceptable Driver’s Abstract
  • You have the TDG certification, or are willing to obtain
  • You have a minimum of 2 years Class 1 driving experience
  • You have great organization and time management skills.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You exhibit good safety awareness and judgment.
