Phase ManagerDepartment: Long-Term ProgramClassification: ManagerReports to: Program DirectorPosition Overview: Serving the Program Director to provide excellent leadership to the Program staff and clients. This position assist in ensuring the program meets all accreditation standards as set forth.Primary Responsibilities: 1. Provide one on one mentorship sessions with all assigned students once a week with a weekly total of 45 minutes time spent per student.2. Record and track all mentorship sessions on reporting systems provided.3.4. Create and teach GSNL & PSNL curriculum and learning plans.5. Be trained and certified to teach all materials as requested.6. Record and track all class progression on reporting system provided.7. Schedule or adapt class time appropriately in order to maintain and honour the timeframe set forth by and to ensure the academic success of each student8. Family Communications9. Develop & Maintain excellent relationships with student families and support.10. Communicate student progression or incidents weekly to respected family members.11. Record all family communications on reporting system provided.12. Organize and plan assigned student requests, phone calls, visits and appointments and track requests on reporting system provided.13. Ensure that scheduled program events, rules & procedures are being followed by students.14. Provide mature leadership to students in daily activity as well as at events such as Church Services, outreach booths/presentation ect.Budgetary: Serve the Program Director to meet budgetary goals, participating in fundraising events.Schedule: Be flexible with scheduling. Will be required to work evenings and weekends.Collaboration: Will work in collaboration with other staff, students, SURGE students, and families/supports.Decision making: Communicate decisions and suggested changes with the Program Director.Leadership: Provide support and leadership to students, students families, volunteers and staff within the program.Qualifications:1. Able to effectively minister and counsel students and their families.2. Willingness to learn and be teachable3. Able to be an examples to other staff in daily living.4. Actively demonstrate and maintain excellent working relationships with all program staff and all other departments.5. Strong organizational skills and highly effective communication skills.6. Working knowledge computers and systems.7. Working knowledge and willingness to adapt to web-based programs and reporting.8. Strong understanding of the DNA of the Adult & Teen Challenge ministry.9. Ability to mentor and give advice to staff and leaders as necessary.10. Understanding of human nature and the physical and spiritual battles that they may face.11. Ability to diffuse tense situations.12. Willing to take new assigned training, and live an example of a life long learner.13. Valid drivers license.14.
