Superior Projects is currently seeking an individual interested in a full-time permanent career as Project Manager and Estimator.Primary Responsibilities;- Lead and direct all aspects of the project while working with a capable team to get the build completed successfully- Plan, coordinate and communicate with key stake holders to control schedule, cost and quality of the projects at hand- Divide projects into scope of work documents in preparation for tender, post tender to pre-determined sub-trade list- Compile estimates and project costs for bid submission and create proposals for potential clients- Create start-up packages for projects and subcontractor scope sheets- Material take-offs- Change order management, client contracts and applications for payment- Pull permits and applications for projects; hydro, building permits, variances, etc.- Follow health and safety regulations and participate in company safety program- Daily communication with supervisors and weekly on-site meetings- Communicate with client regarding pricing, schedule, issues and updatesQualifications;- 5-10 years experience in estimating and/or project management in a construction related industry with comprehensive knowledge in building science, codes and construction best practices- Formal education related to construction management or other equivalent construction programs considered an asset- Organized, detail oriented and excellent verbal and written communication skills- Time management and multi-tasking abilitiesWe offer a positive environment that encourages training and growth.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From $85,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
