Job Description

Clearview Consumers Co-op Agro Centre is hiring a Sales Agronomist to join our team of professionals in Steinbach, Manitoba.Who we are:Co-op does business differently. We encourage our Sales Agronomists to take advantage of learning opportunities, to grow and develop and to foster a culture of teamwork and innovation.What you’ll do:Reporting to the Agro Manager; the Sales Agronomist provides solutions for customers on agronomic issues and challenges. They will use their acquired knowledge to establish credibility and to develop ongoing, profitable sales relationships with Clearview Co-op customers.Some main duties of the job include:

  • Live our brand, “You’re at Home Here” by presenting a positive, collaborative, and professional image of the organization to all customers, visitors, suppliers, and team members.
  • Exemplify our company values: People, Integrity, Excellence, and Responsibility.
  • Provide information to customers on seed, weed, disease, and insect control.
  • Conduct field scouting for customers.
  • Manage own portfolio of farm contacts and maintain detailed records.

What you possess:
  • You have an Agriculture Degree or Diploma
  • Certified Crop Advisor designation
  • P. Ag designation preferred (must be willing to acquire designation within 12 months of hire).
  • You have 2 years of Sales Agronomist experience
  • You have a strong background in the related industry
