• Provide the necessary planning, organization, and coordination of manufacturing activities to effectively drive packaging/NHP operations.
• Assist in the development and planning of all long-term packaging/NHP processes and schedules.
• Lead, develop and coach your team to high performance levels.
• Address performance problems and issues promptly and recognize individual and team successes.
• Provide job specific training to manufacturing employees, verify training records are up to date and accurate, and ensure all training requirements are compliant with cGMP and Safety regulations.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to manufacturing operators to ensure the effective and timely troubleshooting of processes and equipment.
• Assist and support the development of continuous improvement / Lean strategies and cost reduction measures.
• Assist in the investigation process.

QualificationsEducation/Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical, food or regulated manufacturing industry
• Bachelor of Science degree in a directly related field (preferred)
• OR a combination of education and experience will also be considered

Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of the associated regulations that govern the pharmaceutical industry. Strong knowledge of cGMP documentation.

• Leadership skills which include people development, conflict resolution, and collaborative decision making. Planning and organizational skills with high process-orientation. Ability to adapt quickly to changes and to redirect priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact effectively across all levels across the organization. Solid verbal and written English communication skills. Ability to supervise with a “Safety First” attitude. Continuous improvement mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP literacy is an asset).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle changing priorities with a keen attention to detail.
