Job Description

We are looking for a Team Leader to join the Day Shift. This is a 6-month term position.Duties:

  • Work closely with the Group Leader to promote and work to meet departmental goals
  • Support the Group Leader with performance management of staff including orientation, management and performance reviews
  • Facilitate safety and well being of team members
  • Facilitate problem-solving process within department and with the supply customers
  • Ensure leadership is aware of all situations regarding planning, quality, personnel, safety and materials
  • Work with team on continuous improvement activities
  • Train team members
Requirements:
  • Passion for leadership and personal development
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Work independently (self-motivated)
  • Understand and write simple correspondences as well as verbal communication in English
  • Assume leadership responsibilities for department as the workload demands
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and motivate team members
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
Assets:
  • Previous experience in a leadership role is an asset
