We’re Looking for a YOUTH and CHRISTIAN EDUCATION director!

If you answered yes to the above, read on!About Christian Fellowship ChurchWe are a non denominational church in Steinbach, MB that has celebrated 83 years since we started. We provide a place for people and families to grow closer to God, as well as to each other. It is our sincere passion to see people deepen in their faith with Jesus, whether they have just met Him, or have walked with Him for 50 years! We always aim to be rooted in the Bible and want to see God’s flock growing in their knowledge of the Word.But we aren’t done. There is still more growth and development work to do. We are looking for an amazing person to join the team and help take our Youth program, as well as a few other areas, to the next level!This is where you come in.This is for you if:

  • You enjoy sharing your knowledge and skills with your team members, and are humble enough to learn from them as well
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE:
  • Guiding, developing and directing a Youth program including the volunteer leaders
  • Overseeing an AWANA program
  • Planning, directing, and running a Kingdom Kidz program
  • Providing a positive attitude to share with your teammates, students, volunteers, and fellow Church members
  • Given the opportunity to learn and develop personally and professionally
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:We are looking for someone with these awesome skills (You got game):
  • Biblical knowledge and understanding (Bible College or Seminary is an asset)
  • An ever deepening relationship with God
  • Organizational Skills: keeping your desk, your paper work, and your life organized
  • Communication Skills: keeping people up to date; sharing your calm, not joining their chaos
  • You make the world’s best tacos (we may consider quesadillas)
  • Tech savvy: It’s 2022. Apps, emails with attachments, Zoom, stuff like that
  • Candidate must already be able to live and work in Canada
Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a criminal record check and child abuse registry checksCOMPENSATION:Salary based on skill and prior experience. Canadian money. Sometimes animal crackers.40+ hours per weekJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $14.00-$30.00 per hourSchedule:
