Job Description

Ottawa Home Select is a busy construction firm seeking dedicated, motivated, and opened minded individuals to join our team. We are looking for a delivery driver that has a strong background in construction and expert knowledge of construction materials.Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Drive delivery vehicle to box stores/ vender warehouses to pick up material orders
  • Load and unload products from vehicle
  • Deliver items to specific job sites in Ottawa area
  • Inspect the delivery vehicle regularly
  • Add fuel and maintain detailed records of fuel costs and mileage
  • Collect payment or get signatures for proof of delivery (receipts)
  • Ensure all items being delivered remain intact during transport and delivery
Driver Qualifications:
  • A valid drivers license
  • A clean driving abstract from the last 12 months
  • A clean criminal record
  • Secondary school diploma
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $20.00-$25.00 per hourFlexible Language Requirement:
  • French not required
Schedule:
  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Stittsville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
  • Construction: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (required)
