Job Description

Job descriptionOttawa Home Select is a busy construction firm seeking dedicated, motivated, and opened minded individuals to join our team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment and machines, load and unload heavy materials, follow directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen. A successful candidate must be detail-oriented and organized, with excellent time management skills.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for completing the appropriate tasks delegated by Site Lead, Production Manager, and Owner
  • Prep and maintain construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards ensuring a clean and safe work environment
  • Maintain regular communication with Site Leads
  • Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs
  • Assist craft workers
  • Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience working as a renovator in a fast paced environment
  • Must have a valid Drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality and dependability.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, and work under pressure
  • Ability to problem-solve and work independently
  • Ability to do physical labour and other strenuous tasks
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $18.00-$25.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
