Ottawa Home Select is looking to hire a skilled Lead Renovator to join our team. The successful candidate will be a team minded individual with the skills and knowledge to grow within our company and will provide guidance and supervision to the project team, assign tasks, respond to clients requests, and regularly inspect the work done by the project team to ensure it conforms to the specifications. This individual will work closely with the manager in order to resolve project-related issues,Duties & Responsibilities: · General Finishing Carpentry both interior and exterior· Flooring· Cabinetry· Door and Window Installation, relocation· Deck Construction· Reading and Interpreting Building Plans and Blueprints· Ability to assist with material take offs· Maintain clean and safe work environment· Supervise and coordinate the work performed by crew of workers· Ensure work progresses on scheduleQualifications: · Carpenter Experience 5 years (preferred)· Proven experience in residential remodelling or construction· Strong leadership skills and effective communication skills· excellent time management skills· Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures· Knowledge of and the ability to work in accordance to the Building Code· Knowledge of General Construction Safety· Excellent problem solving skills both on and off site· Reliable Team Player· Must have your own basic tools· Must own Steel Toe Boots· Valid ‘G†Class Licence with Clean Driving AbstractJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $24.00-$32.00 per hourSchedule:
